Walk audits of two thoroughfares in Montrose are taking place on the remaining Saturday and Sunday mornings in July and on August 3rd. Volunteers from Neartown/Montrose are needed to collect critical data intended to identify potential locations for improvements to sidewalks, crosswalks, and bus stops. These Montrose walk audits are being organized by Friends of the Boulevard in collaboration with The Citizens’ Transportation Coalition, the Houston Chapter AARP, Urban Paths, and the Greater Houston Coalition for Complete Streets.
