Houston District C City Council Member Ellen Cohen is hosting a meeting on Thursday, September 26th to discuss a proposal to build a new Montrose Library within an upcoming development on the corner of Montrose Blvd at Westheimer Rd. Participants will receive presentations on plans for the new, larger, library and expanded parking; the scope of the new development; the impact on the HPD storefront; and a possible partnership with the Montrose TIRZ for additional public parking and streetscape improvements. (Tokens will be passed out during the meeting to allow for free parking in the Moran Center Parking Garage (entrance on Graustark St).)
