Community Workshop for TxDOT NHHIP Segment 3

  • High School for Law and Justice 3505 Coyle Street (accessible by METRO Purple Line) Houston, TX, 77003 United States (map)

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing a major realignment and expansion of portions of I-45, I-10 and I-69. The City of Houston wants to make sure its residents voices are heard. As part of this process, the Planning and Development Department will host a community workshop for Segment 3 of the North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP), which includes the freeways encircling Downtown. (In the immediate Montrose area, I-69 (aka US-59) east from the Montrose bridges and Spur 527 are expected to be impacted.)

This community workshop, to be held on Saturday, November 9, will include presentations and discussion groups on the highway and various related proposals. With help from an independent team of experts, the City will use this feedback to identify ways to improve or change these projects.
