The Childhood & Youth Committee will review issues related to the quality of life of children and our youth, primarily focusing on ages 0-24. Departments focused on promoting physical health, social and emotional wellbeing of children including Parks & Recreation, Houston Public Library, Health, and Mayor’s Office of Education. The Childhood & Youth Committee will meet on the second Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public and will include an opportunity for public comment (advance sign-up required). This meeting will offer the option to participate by videoconference or in-person.
