The City Planning and Development Department is seeking your help to eliminate traffic deaths and make streets safe for everyone. Vision Zero Houston is a commitment to end traffic deaths and serious injuries on Houston streets by 2030 and improve street safety for everyone. In advance of launching a Vision Zero Action Plan this fall, City Planning is hosting a Virtual Open House for the community to provide feedback on the draft actions and approaches.
The open house will be held in two virtual meetings: August 18 and August 19. The same session will be held both days, so join for either or both. In each session the Vision Zero Action Plan will be discussed and you will be asked for your input on what the City should prioritize. This is the first step in developing a comprehensive and holistic approach to create safe streets for all Houstonians.
To join the virtual meeting either Tuesday, Aug 18, 4-6pm or Wednesday, Aug 19, 6-8pm:
