The Central One Division of Houston Police Department (HPD) hosts a monthly PIP meeting on the first Tuesday of each month, to allow residents of Montrose to meet and interact with local HPD officers to discuss crime and safety within their neighborhoods. Central division's PIP meetings are now in person at 1602 State St.

September guest speaker will be Sgt Espinoza from the HOT Team (Homeless Outreach Team). He will be highlighting HOT and their work with Houston’s homeless population.
